It was very exciting to learn my evil spawn is actually making progress toward adulthood. We had a real, grownup conversation today (he didn't ask for money, a stage is passed!) and handled himself most excellently in a tricky ethical situation. Made me proud.

Actual, I'm pleased that he has, in some areas, extremely strong ethics. I guess I did something right. I wish I'd written it down.

I'm very nearly finished the year long sweater. Every year, there's one sweater that takes a year to finish. Once it was two years (and well worth it!). This year's is almost done, and just in time for spring, as always. Someday I'll finish one in less than a year. Maybe if I used big girl needles.

And the first draft of the synopsis is written. Now to cut it down and make it glow.
